Cringe when at events with free alcohol and…

…. People say “dude free beer, time to get phucked up” or “dude it’s free!” As they reach for their fifth beverage. Or even worse the “wasn’t going to drink tonight but it’s free!”




By being that person you are showing that the limitation on your alcohol consumption isn’t your own desire, it isn’t even the availability of alcohol, but simply the price point of it. Whether beer was $10 a bottle (Biden) or 10 cents it shouldn’t matter unless you are living in poverty. One should have as many, as few, if any, drinks as they please. Instead by making something free it increases demand for the masses who otherwise wouldn’t care to have it

If something is free poorcels will always try to consume it whether they need it or not. I know a guy like this who will legit go out of his way if something is free. You know those free donut days that Kripy Kreme or Dunkin put on, dude would always go and redeem his free donut no matter what. Or at a company event he would always pile his plate sky high and eat as much as he can to the point he'd feel sick. Same for anything else similar.

There's nothing more pathetic than it's free so I gotta go get it mentality. Can't imagine being worried about missing out on a free item that normally costs $1-$20 tops.
