GOD DAMN that final scene with Vader was insane!
It was already sick when he just used the force to stop an entire damn ship from taking off, but when he absolutely wrecks Third Sister with zero effort my inner Star Wars nerd level reached 100.
When he takes her sabers and throws one down at her for a proper duel…

Was gonna actually post today to see if anyone else is disappointed in it so far...

I agree on the scene you speak of, but some of the other stuff is just laughable and the flashbacks of them doing jedi training is a little cringe given the 20 years of in between time...

The problem with Star Wars is that there is enough of backstory, character development and interesting concepts to make fantastic films… Bit they seem to fukk it up everytime. I’ve given up on them making anything good (mandolorian was a decent exception) and that has proven to be smart as kenobi is pure schit.

Excellent flashbacks and Vader scenes in episode 5 but it doesn’t make up for how bad ep1-4 were. That being said, easily the best Vader scene in film of all time.


Great episode but unless the ep6 is a 10/10, this show is a hard 5/10 overall

the biggest problem with star wars is the toxic fan base of incel morons that think its a fuking religion and not some made up fantasy world. just enjoy it as entertainment and git over it. its better than 98% of anything else out there and its 40 years old.

disney does it right , just enough to piss off the base but bring in new people. pissing off the nerds is good. they won't stop watching anyway.

It hits the nostalgia well but it feels cheap

The chase scene for Leia in the beginning was like…a joke. I love her acting outside of that though. The hand hold scene after ep3 or 4 was heartwarming and played great
Episode 2, third sister jumping across rooftops looks super cheap
Episode 4 Kenobi hits somebody with his lightsaber and it bounces off the dude…
Third sister acting overall is poor outside of episode 5 where it’s pretty good actually

Lots of little things each episode which made me unhappy with it up until ep5

I liked the intro flash back from episode 1 the most, story is kinda meh, but yeah seeing Vader on screen was pretty cool.

Disney pretty much killed my enthusiasm for anything new and Star Wars related. Still love the OG trilogy though.

I like how they truly make Vader villainous. Favorite part has been when he straight up snaps a guys neck with the force and then just drags a woman (this was 2-3 episodes ago).

The plot is a bit boring though. I feel like it has potential but falling short of mandolorian and more on par with Boba Fett.

Not a bad show but not great either. I think Disney knows they phucked up every Star Wars project they’ve touched so they’re playing it too safe with this one, at the expense of being boring at times

Yes, aside from the end of Rogue One and these scenes in Kenobi, no Star Wars movies or shows have really shown how insanely strong and basically just evil he was lol. It’s fking glorious.

Haven't really enjoyed it that much. The fight scenes in my opinion have been pretty lack luster. The Vader and Obi-wan faceoff that is pretty much what everyone was waiting to see was kind of lame. I know Vadar can one hand swing a lightsaber but it looked so awkward the way he was doing it in the fight, it just looked slow and bulky and the movements weren't fluid at all. Same with the 3rd sister with pretty much all her fight scenes.

Also weird that Vader starts a fire, between him and Obi, drags Obi through the fire, then rebel woman shoots cannister to cause just a slightly bigger fire but now Vader can't force grab obi on the other side of this fire after just doing it moments before?? Then the scenes where the rebel spy chick has to fight storm troopers, not sure who choreographed those fight scenes but she grabs a helmet and gives it a weird slight tug and the trooper goes flying? It looks more fake than WWE wrestling.

I like Star Wars, and i'm watching it for that reason and there are parts here and there i like, but overall it just seems so low quality to come from a company with such giant budget that has a few big name actors.


Also would be nice if they updated the whole concept of Stormtroopers are just the worst of the worst soldiers. in the original movies i just accepted it because films back then were all kind of corny in that style of gun fights. But I appreciate modern movies that make the good guy actually have to do something tactically smart and sound to beat the enemy soldiers instead of the enemy soldiers are just the dumbest people on the planet who can't hit anything and always charging with ranged weapons and half the time not shooting said ranged weapons just so the hero can melee them.
