Doctor didnt do anything for my sleep apnea

Resting oxygen levels were 97% but average while asleep was 87%.

Dude brought in book too.


Dont feel like i got the attention i deserved.

Tell your doc to refer you for a sleep study. Tell him you're symptomatic. Fatigued, difficulty concentrating, etc.

I'm surprised he didn't prescribe cannabis. That seems to be one of the more common prescriptions for sleep disorders these days.

Thats what i did, take home study, got call to discuss results.

Im on the wait list for a septoplasty, 2-3 years lol. Watched some surgery vids on youtube, was pretty neat.

Do you have a Fitbit? Does sleep apnea show up on the Fitbit?
I've heard that your sleeping heart rate is above your resting heart rate a lot higher percentage of the time on fit bit if you have sleep apnea.

No. Heart rate can be both slower or faster due to low levels.

Resting heart rate was 60 bpm at the sleep clinic.

1) They make at home sleep studies recorded by your phone. Not sure if accurate but can lead to Rx if needed.
2) Craigslist

Chip shortage and there was a huge recall of one of, if not the, most popular model. People stopped using them immediately because their is styrofoam inside for insulation that began to break down and people were breathing near toxic levels. Seems that it only happened to users who also used the ozone cleaning system someone started selling. I, having never one cleaned my machine beyond changing the filter and hose and mask, but also I never use the heat or humidifer options, opted to just ignore the recall. but people were having a hard time getting replacements.

Yeah im afraid of this just got my test done. Waiting for an appointment to get my tritation study done then will get a machine .... at some point. Whilewhile only getting about 5 hrs of sleep every night and getting heart palpitations.

Check your insurance - you'd be surprised how many machines are on sale on the used market and you are supposed to replace the hose and mask every couple months anyway. i could have bought a used machine much cheaper than I ultimately paid for mine. I have actually thought about buying a second just to keep next to the couch so I can take a nap whenever I want. But I should actually get a travel machine, would make things easier.

Ive heard its usually cheaper to just outright buy one which I might. I will see what my insurance is going to cover first. And yeah I will probably get an extra travel machine too. First I have to get the lazy fukkers at my sleep center to actually set a date for my titration.
