Weird Random unexplained **** that happened in your life

I know this forum is full of atheists that believe in nothing, but I want to hear stories of people who have strange encounters that cannot be quite explained, be it UFO's, spiritual encounters, precognition, etc...

To start, I dreamed about my grandfathers death before it happened. I had a pet Gartner snake, and in the dream, the snake died and we we going to bury it, but when we drove past the burial site I saw may grandfathers grave. I woke up the next morning to check on the snake and it was dead, just like the dream, and then a few days later we found out my Grandfather was diagnosed with cancer. They tried Chemo, but it was futile, and in my mind I knew he was already gone. The Chemo failed and he died shortly after.

On my Grandfathers dying days, he was fading in and out of consciousness, but he desperately wanted to speak with my mother, who wasn't his biological daughter, but married to his troubled son, my father. He told my mom quite sternly that he knows how my sister would turn out, and that she will be ok and not to worry about her, but as for me, she would need to be vigilant in watching over me as my path has not been determined. I'm wondering if he had some NDE experiences at the time, and maybe was seeing some potential outcomes, and didn't like some of the paths my life took.

When I was in my early 20's, I wanted to commit suicide. I was actually planning on taking a bottle of *****, then chugging alcohol, then jumping off of a 15 story building when everything kicked in. I used to go up to the building where I was going to jump daily and wondered if I would have the balls to do it, but it was terrifying, and that's when I knew I would have to be inebriated to actually go through with it. At the same time, looking over the ledge, I prayed to god to send me a sign not to go through with it, that maybe my life is worth living. Not less than a few days later my mom calls me to tell me she was visited by a spirit in the middle of the night. She said the spirit came to her and flooded her with a feeling of peace and light, and then said "I come to you to speak to semenreleaser". That was it. She told me about this the next day, and she claimed the spirit that spoke to her was my grandfather and that she felt it to her core. That was enough to keep my from offing myself at that time.

I had a shared out of body experience with my wife when we were dating. We had just smashed and were laying in bed and fell asleep naked. We both in a dream state stepped outside of our physical bodies and went out to the patio to smoke a cigarette while laughing at the futility of life and the roles we play on this earth. We woke up at the same exact time and were like WTF. We corroborated stories and it was apparent we experienced the same thing together. I actually tried to split with her after as she was wanting to get married and I was still keeping my options open, but when I was away from her I experienced some of the worst pain I could imagine. I have been with lots of girls, and in and out of a lot of relationships, so I could deal with pains of a breakup, but this was different. It felt like my soul was screaming at me to not let her go, and that any alternative paths I take would be complete **** compared to what I could take right now. I ended up marrying her.

I now have two kids and my grandfather made another appearance in one of my dreams. I honestly probably haven't though much of him in like 20 years. He's been dead a long time, but in this dream I had, he appeared to me as some entity of light then started to transform himself into my grandfather. The image was exact, like I barely remembered what he looked like before, but in the dream it was perfect, and his voice, I had forgotten all about how he had a southern draw, but in the dream, I recognized it. I felt that he was revealing himself to me and that I should take this time to ask him a bunch of questions. I asked him questions such as where did you go when you died, and questions about the afterlife. He tapped me on the shoulder and said he was too sick to take questions and if he could just lie down and relax. He then lies down in my arms, and I see the cancer take control of him and kill him as he withers away into a pile of bones in my arms. The next thing I know, I look down and I am holding my son in my son in my arms who is sleeping peacefully. This one is recent, so i'm not quite sure how to take it.

Other than that, I have some weird memories of existing before I was born, reading books in some library in space, interacting with other souls, and seeing my mother before I was born to her. Like I remember walking into this giant bus station, and I didn't know where to go, but I just kept walking and eventually the woman who would be my mother appeared to me. I knew she was lonely, hurting, and needed me, so that's how I knew where to go. I followed her on the bus and that's that.

When I was 17, I went hiking/camping with some friends on a segment of the Appalachian. We were only going part way through the state and one of their parents was going to pick us up. We were only going to be gone for 3 to 4 days but had plenty of supplies to stay out a week.

The first day was normal…good weather and perfect temperatures. We got to the camp site and set up early since the second day was going to be the longest segment. We talked a lot, had a few beers and my friends being big dippers, went through a couple cans of Grizzly Wintergreen. One by one, we all started to trail off to get some sleep, but I wanted to stay awake till the campfire was nothing but embers.

Before I went to my tent, I saw some glowing lights in the distance between the trees but didn’t think too much of it as I figured it was either a home or someone’s headlights (didn’t know where the roads were). The following morning we all got up and I looked in the direction of those lights and I saw nothing that could have been there…no roads, no houses…nothing.

Still not really freaked out (thinking it could’ve been other hikers or something), we all carried on for a fairly normal hike on day two, except a few of us were getting pretty bad headaches (crazy coincidence). We did hear a couple of really loud yells but it sounded really far off. It was almost perfectly spaced, but it sounded like whatever it was, was in pain. The second night was pretty uneventful, but on the third night, things got crazy.

Kinda of the same routine as before, we all hung out around the campfire and one by one went to our tents to turn in. I, having eaten a big chunk of my supplies since we were going to call it quits the next day, had to go take a chit before bed. I walked out about 50 yards or so with a flashlight close to a stream where there was a big sandbank. The plan was to chit in a hole I dug and bury it like a cat.

I remember squatting down and when I looked down the stream/river, I saw those same lights glowing above the water. As I squatted in the air, ass out, turds dropping and making a satisfying thud when they fell, I noticed the lights moving closer and closer. At this point, I was getting really freaked out as it was clearly not people and it was completely quiet.

I pinched off whatever was left, gave a few quick wipes and before I could even pull my pants up all the way, the light was directly in front of me…not even 20 feet away. So I stood their, shorts around my ankles, a pile of chit just behind me and half used roll of toilet paper in my hand. I was speechless and frozen.

A few moments later, a being that looked like it was pure light approached me. As it got closer, it became clear that it looked just like your stereotypical grey…big eyes, slit for a mouth, very frail looking and maybe 3 and a half feet tall. As stunned as I was, I was even more stunned that I was slowly getting an erection.

The grey slowly walked toward me, kneeled and began sucking my cawk very slowly and sensually. I dropped the roll of toilet paper and just closed my eyes not believing what was happening. With it’s mouth being nothing more than a small slit, it was tight and I was getting close to blasting. Not wanting to pass up this opportunity, I got it to turn around and started pile driving it doggystyle. I wanted to grab some hair while I was thrusting but there was no hair to grab. When I finally blew my load, everything around me got really bright and the next thing I know, I was back in my tent and the day was beginning to break. To this day, I have no idea what those noises were on the second day of our hike but it freaks me out thinking of it.

Won't get into details because they are too personal, but have had a few WTF moments.

Had a few OBE experience. Looked into a mirror saw myself and something else. Won't go into details because it still freaks me out to this day. Pretty sure I was astral projecting and that it should not be fuked around with.

Another time I am pretty sure I was astral projecting and the whole "aura" description seems accurate. I saw myself sleeping and could not get back into my body when I wanted it to end. I say astral because that world is basically the same as the one we experience everyday, just more of an insidious the movie vibe to it. Freaky chit man.

I know how to get "in" the astral world and won't describe the process because, again, I don't think it should be messed around with. I figured out how to do it by shear coincidence, luck, fluke, or whatever you want to call it. I've seen tutorials online on the processes on how to do it and they aren't even close to how I do it. Because of this I wonder if there are people out there who intentionally give bad advice because they don't want others to know how, possibly for a nefarious reason, or are just larping.

I've had that happen before and i sort of just 'slip' out of my body and think, "oh is that it, I was in that young man's body"?

Not how it was for me. I 100% knew it was me I was looking at when I was in the astral. My ego or whatever you want to call it was in two places at once, just only inhabiting one body or plane at the time.

edit: but yes, to your point, it is weird to see your body sleeping there and you are observing it if that makes sense. Maybe we are describing the same experience.

11 years old, outside by myself at night, large object, the size of a medium sized plane, with lights flying slowly above the tree line, large enough to make the trees sway, but there was hardly any sound or no sound at all from the object.

Still no clue what it was.

I did not feel that i was the body, i just felt that I was outside of my body and looking at this good looking young man's body and I 'knew' that i just existed inside of it.. it was just weird to see it like that, since i've never observed my own body outside of my own body, emotions, and karma.

Buddy told me to try lucid dreaming because he was going to. He wanted someone else to compare to. Decided why not. Really pushed it and was able to lucid dream somewhat every night. He wasn't able to do it oddly.

One night I was trying something (can't even remember what it was I trying) and in the dream everyone stopped and looked at me. It wasn't like normal people looking despite looking like normal people. It was straight up anger and demonic. Think of the scariest look a person can make and then make it demonic. I can't explain the feeling but it was as if I disturbed or upset something and I was haunted deep by it. I always had horrific dreams as a child, well at least for a couple years, so I wonder if there is any connection or if my mind was just playing tricks on me. I have chills thinking about it now.

Haven't done any lucid dreaming since. Afraid to try it again.

Right before falling asleep one night, early 2020, I had a split second vision of my mom frail and weak, walking slowly to the bathroom, as if it were routine. And that I should be protecting her

A few months later she was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer, I was her caretaker and was battling her emotionally abusive husband. She was indeed shuffling to the bathroom often, exactly in the way the vision showed. Both the cancer and her husband's change came from complete left field, there was nothing indicating it months before

Had countless other oddities in that period

I have weird dreams all the time. Just wondering if that's significant or not. Yeah I'm the dream equivalent of the crossfit guy who says "your max is my warmup."

Weirdest thing I've ever witnessed was a perfect thin horizontal black line scanning the moon when I was around 10. My dad saw it too, was summer time and we were doing yardwork at dusk. There's absolutely no explanation that I've come across that would explain that.

Speaking of dreams , I counted 30 almost identical vivid dreams that I had about getting layed off . This happened over about a years time .
Anyways out of the blue after 32 years I got layed off , and the dream never came back .
I thought that was a tad strange

Of course I can’t have nice vivid dreams of winning the lotto lol

When I was 4, I saw a shadow creature staring at me outside my room. My mom saw it too. It imitated my dead grandpa's asthmatic breathing.

Can you tell more about this? I've had similar imitations happen since my mom passed, trying to figure out wtf it is

Did it feel like it was mocking?

One time I pooped and when I wiped there wasn't anything on it, not even a single spec of matter, in disarray I immediately glanced at the bowl and there wasn't anything there either... after weeks of research almost spiraling into madness I learned I experienced the phenomenon known as phantom poop.

I was at lil caesars and of course they didn't have the extra most bestest ready so I had to wake around

I noticed a wasp flying around the top of the store front glass trying to get out flying into the clear glass and I kept my eyes locked on it not wanting the kunt to land on me, so I had been keeping my eye on it for ten minutes straight

then some old guy walked in the store taking my attention of it for 3 seconds, I went to find it again but it was gone. I looked and looked and couldn't find it again anywhere

a few minutes later I finally got my pizza still not seeing it. I thought wow it's stuck in here, I guess I'd let it out the door if I get a chance. As I'm going to the door with my pizza box the wasp drops straight down out of nowhere on to my pizza box

I quickly opened the door and it flew off. All that time of keeping my eyes on it to lose it and then drops out of nowhere and escapes at the last moment

I thought this was a metaphor to my life, I can't quite figure it out. Something about being stuck, invisible barrier, escaping, taking your eyes off of something to see it disappear only to drop back in your face later.

Now this freaks me out. Did the dream ever come true?

My grandmother and my mom both had the same recurring dreams about an unknown woman scolding them for not attempting to reach out to the man who was my grandma’s ex husband/mom’s father. For context, he abandoned the family shortly after my mom was born (40+ years prior) and they never spoke to him again. But for weeks they would have these shared dreams about him. It spooked them enough to Google his name. They found an obituary showing he just died around the time the dreams started.

Chit like that gives me faith in a spiritual worldview.

While I haven't been dealt the greatest cards, I've had incredible luck on several occasions. Every time, and I mean every time I've been close to rock bottom I always get a push to keep going. Be it randomly getting money out of nowhere, a phone call/text from family or friends, or a pleasant encounter with a stranger.

I've abandoned organized and named religion and consider myself agnostic, however I've become much more spiritual as of late. There's more to life than what we can see with our eyes.

I mean there is the ongoing mystery of how the kardashian family remains living in homes with seemingly standard plumbing technology thus indicating their toilets are miraculously continuing to successfully flush at least occasionally whilst being assaulted with gargantuan fudge cobra onslaughts on what is likely to be a near hourly basis so you can noodle on that one for a while

I usually pass stories like this off as total bullchit, but when people you know not to be liars are adamant of such experiences, it cracks my skepticism.
