The guy who shot him was 100% well within his right to self defense. The guy was aggressive, displayed hostile intent, he had the ability to inflict severe damage or death so it's 100% justified imo. I'm also impressed with the control the shooter had, I was expecting him to unload the clip but one shot to the leg and he went down.

Lol he turned into a whiney Lebron style biotch once he got shot didn’t he? What happened to all that tough talk? Served him right. Was 100% self defense.
This body holding me, be my reminder here that I am not alone.

If you are arguing, its almost never self defense.
Also, this is exactly why the .22 caliber is perfect. You can shoot them if you feel endangered, with a chance that they will survive.
Self defense is when you are trying to get away, but cannot. This dude had every chance to get away and call the cops. Which he didn't and resorted to shooting someone.

You know, if you own guns, you have an obligation to be responsible and think on a high level. If you shoot someone, your actions are heavily scrutinized and put under a microscope, to which there are only actions taken legally but non legally by third parties.
In 2004, my older brother robbed a house for jewerly. He and his friends held up the homeowners in the own house. He shot at the ceiling to scare the kid, and it ricochet into the shoulder. He served a 3 year sentence for this because he was underage. But had the owners killed my brother, He wouldn't be alive today and there's the possibility that I come after those owners in the future.
Your actions carries with it consequences.

Maybe the other guy should have run away in fear and called the police. Maybe the guy would have gotten away and murdered him or burned his house down while he slept inside on another day. Who knows, we'll never know.
In this case, the dude's consequence for being a weird/aggressive stalker was getting shot. The other guy have him numerous opportunities to back off.

The youtube guy is annoying.
It was easy self defense. I would have shot much earlier and many more times or ran into my house if I could.
Youtube guy says he was reaching for a knife. I didn't see a reach, I saw him going for a takedown. Yes the knife was a threat but I didn't think he was reaching at the time. I would have still shot and shot more.
The only questionable part is when they're off camera. If the dude has a chance to run home he should have. I'm all about not escalating because once you hurt somebody you've gotta deal with a million useless questions and legal problems. I'd rather run away if I could and call the police. But who knows, he was being confronted at 5:30am, nothing good is coming at you that early so probably pulling the gun was the right choice... hard to question any actions that early.
Also wtf at get down. He should've been saying get back.

Your brother deserved to be shot. Why don't you come after your brother instead?

Not much else can be done.
If they're willing to advance on you when your gun is lined up at their body, they are willing to kill you and not in the right frame of mind. You only owe it to keep yourself safe.

I'm sorry, but he used his gun to solve his problems here, which has been an ongoing problem. This gives good gun owners a bad name.
