Observed life cycle of robins this spring from egg to fledgling (pics)(wholesome)

Took around 1 month from egg to first flight. Got to witness their entire life cycle on a daily basis. Thought I'd share. The mom tossed the entire nest down and I kept it as a memento. Didn't want to get too close to take pics so I wouldn't disturb them so I did my best.

*Look at reflection in car window and flex every time crew*
*Use half the roll to wipe after a poo crew*
*Fart in the gym and blame rotten smell on faulty ventilation crew*
*Fart at home and blame it on the dog crew*
*Watch neutron-star density poop mock me as water flushes around it and it stays put crew*
*Drive 2 minutes in the summer and back of shirt gets completely wet crew*
*Coffee black as midnight on a moonless night crew*
*Fat shame my cat on a daily basis crew*

I love chicken nuggets.

Especially when they are that young, you don't even have to worry about the bone, you crush it all up into a pink paste and use little dinosaur cookie cutters.

Man, I used to have a pretty nice mocking bird nest in my RV. They used the chit out of that thing. Mom would always follow me on the lawn mower, around the whole yard too. A friend is using my RV. A few weeks ago I removed the nest. They built a new one, but he took the RV yesterday so it gone for good now. I wonder where she will post up now.

How many of them made it? I live near a river and watch cygnets grow up into swans every year which is quite nice, but not this close.

Old bird nests can have some nasty stuff for humans, be careful.

I have robins nesting my Japanese maple. They are not that far off the ground. Been avoiding pruning because I dont want to disturb them.

Robins can be annoying ****ots in the early Spring (trying to fight their reflection in your windows and or shytting all over your car).

Pretty sure I recall seeing 3. I think they all made it. I also care for stray cats so I was a bit worried about the cats going after the birds but it didn't seem to happen. There was a lot of robins this spring. I'm pretty sure there was another nest off in the woods on my property. I think the robin parents share duties and are both always around the nest.

We also have these snakes that return to lay their eggs here every spring. They're always out on my front steps sunbathing together like a little family.

Thanks for the tips on the nest. I was careful and placed it inside my shed on a shelf using gardening gloves.

For me it's the blue jays. Blue jays are a$$hole birds. They terrorize other birds and schit all over the cottamn place. They schit all over my lawn furniture, they scream all day, and they even eat all the food I leave out for the cats. They'll literally sit on my patio table eating cat food squirting schit all over the place while screaming and looking at me through the window dead in the eyes.
