English Bulldog stigma
Really tired of the stigma against English Bulldogs. Everywhere I go, people are always talking about the breathing problems that the breed is prone to.
It's really not the breed. It's the owners. They don't have clean air in their homes and the dog suffers because of that.
My sweet angel baby breathes perfect. I think all of the statistics that say 55% of all cases of trachea hypoplasia occur in English Bulldogs are really just from biased reporting.
There is an agenda against English Bulldogs to try to make them look as bad of breathers as possible. There is a reason why English Bulldogs throughout history were known as America's Aerobic dog. Any time a family needed a quiet breathing dog that breathed perfect, they would always go for an English Bulldog.

I had an english bulldog that would hyperventilate after a 15 minute walk. I live in England too so it's not even too hot here. The breed is pretty incapable of doing normal things.
-Most can't give birth naturally, have to have c-section
-Their digestive systems are ****, can only eat certain foods
-Zero stamina, have to take breaks half way through a walk
-Hyperventilate in any sort of heat
-Zero athleticism
They're cute in their own way, that's the only thing I'll give them. They're retarded as far as training goes

Absolutely nothing you said is remotely true. My little sweetheart has endless stamina and athleticism and breathes so quiet and perfect. It's bad owners not inherent qualities of the dog.

We had two, one passed due to breathing complications at 6, the other lived to be 13 after beating multiple major health issues unrelated to breathing. Some of the best personalities of any dog I've ever met. Miss those fkers.q
