Too many armed robberies in US have ended with the clerk getting shot dead. WAY too many, especially when "certain ethnicities" are behind the gun. Whether they are on drugs and jumpy, or kill the person out of hate is ultimately irrelevant, storeowners and their staff have EVERY right to protect themselves and their livelihood.
That family should have done more to keep the man on the straight and narrow and maybe NOT rob stores. But they just waited until he got his comeuppance then cried and made him out to be a victim.

Technically they have a point but can’t blame a guy for saying enough is enough. My opinion wouldn’t be the same if this was some old guy trying to defend his small business.

Let it be known, these people are only out for money now. They are going to play victim as hard as possible spewing utter nonsense. I think they do believe what they say to a degree because our human brains are potato, but to an extent, they know he asked for it.
