Usually flip flops in the summer. Haven't had proper sandals in years but don't oppose the idea.

My obsession with sandals outweighs my actual time spent wearing them. I have a new pair of Keens still in their box because I mostly wore the cheap Chinese ones I got. Flip-flops or slides are fine if you aren't going long distance.

Some people consider any open footwear sandals and others use the more traditional definition where the upper is made from strapping and firm around the foot.

Between my rainbows, bedrocks and chacos I wear sandals/flip flops more often than traditional shoes throughout the year. Sucks for you brahs who are stuck wearing thick wool socks and bean boots in winter whilst I'm styling in leather flip flops.
