Do people actually hook up from check-in apps like Swarm?

Was talking to a friend the other day he told me about a friend of his who met his wife on Swarm.

Dude went to cafes& bars and added all the sloots that checked in there and then met that chick.

I match with few on Tinder and when I do they usually are uglier than their pics irl. Matched with one couple days ago: she is a cabin attendant, age is close also lives close to me. We met up earlier today and ofc she was a lot uglier irl so I ended the date after 15 mins.

Other than that most Tinder matches either are escorts or sloots trying to scam simps. Yeah so fukk that app


Anyways anyone tried Swarm that way?
