Not religious but I think society is spiritually sick and that manifests as leftism. Communism, fat acceptance, trannies and general child like behavior are just symptoms of this sickness... Our grandparents generation were largely Christians that practiced a principled value system. They passed those values onto the boomer generation but they did not continue the practice of any kind of principles. Milinials and younger are at least 2 generations removed and these principles have been lost. Replaced by a bunch of weak, childish, narcissistic "I'm perfect, accept me." With that mindset each leftist is essentially their own god living a self fulfilling proficy. No principles to guide them.
