What is your skin care routine (no homo)
Never thought I’d make this thread.
I never gave a chit about my skin. It always looked fine I never had to maintain it or anything. Recently turned 34 though and am noticing the skin on my face is like deteriorating or something.
What do you guys do to keep your skin looking healthy?

I'm 27 years old. I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.

You should just get one of those Tiege Hanley kits that have everything setup.
Basically a general face wash for most days. Once or twice a week use a scrub.
I always apply a SPF 25 face moisturizer. Retinol .0025 at night.

i started trying to piece together a good skin care kit but lost the article i was following. i bought neutrogena toner to clean my face instead of the facewash i was using, as recommended by some article for men skin care and its legit, it doesnt dry my face out but removes the oil. i have some generic moisturizors but nothing top notch

Nothing gay about taking care of yourself son.
Good hygiene morning and evenings is important. Use a moisturizing cream that is fit for your skin type and depening on the state of your face you might need to buy a specific skin soap or maybe even a mask once in a while.
These products help for sure, just don't go overboard. It's just a balance. Don't let your skin get too dry, don't let it get too greasy either.
Also : wear sunscreen, exercise and don't smoke

Since I'm a baldcel, I use a good pre shave scrub (duke Cannon or every man jack is good), then dollar shave club shave butter. This alone is a great product to use, but I also use their post shave cream mixed with their miracle repair serum (helps prevent ingrown hairs too). For the shower I use Dr bronner soap with a scrubber, and I use Aveeno lotion before I go to bed every other night.
My skin looks great for 36, and I still fool younger women lol.

I'm 44 and get 28-32 age guesses all the time, look very young.
Decades of simple skin routine.
I use 1 bar high quality soap for everything including shampoo, but rotate a few brands because each soap has its own oils and benefits.
I use a Shea butter baby lotion for my face
That's all.

I think for most people to see results you need a gentle cleanser, maybe a serum in the morning like vitamin c, moisturizer and sunscreen, then in the evenings cleanse, tretinoin, and moisturizer. You can add in a chemical exfoliant a few times a week if you'd like.
I'm a lot though so here's my routine
AM:
Paula's Choice Softening Cream Cleanser
Iunik Propolis Vitamin Synergy Serum
Tata Harper Rejuvenating Serum
Lush Breath of Fresh Air Toner
Paula's Choice Super-Light Wrinkle Defense SPF 30
PM:
DHC Deep Cleansing Oil
Paula's Choice Softening Cream Cleanser
Paula's Choice BHA Liquid Exfoliant
Tretinoin
Stratia Liquid Gold
Odacite Le Blue Balm
A few times a week I'll do a sheet mask, might use The Ordinary's AHA Peel before. Right now I'm doing some microneedling treatments so for the most part I just stick to the above and ease up on the tret if my skin is feeling particularly dehydrated.
