Who is SINGLE and in their 30s?

Not a cope thread. If you’re married and happy, I’m happy for you. This one’s for the single (or divorced) guys who are in their 30s.

Why are you single? Do you guys feel some sort of…pressure to find someone? I’m 33. Got divorced at 29 and have been living my absolute best life since then. Had one girlfriend at 31 but I was never fully invested in that. Sometimes I do see myself getting into a committed relationship, but that feeling comes and goes.

I'll be 35 next month. And was essentially married from 18-28ish. Had a house/vehicles together, basically everything but the marriage certificate (thankfully). After it ended I did feel pressure to find someone for the first couple years because I was naive and it seemed like that was what I was supposed to do. But my early 30's was the time I saw alot of other marriages of my friends going sideways. Even the friends I have that are still married seem to have the "can't live with em', can't live without em' mentality where they are only happy sometimes because their marriages require so much effort and sacrifice and they don't get much in return.

I don't think I would ever get married unless the female had as much or more to lose as I do that way there would be no/less incentive for her to divorce me. But I know I wouldn't be attracted to a female that makes as much as I do because she would be the bulldog masculine type. I would have no problem getting into a committed relationship again though.

I like the lust and chase of women, not the actually commitment with one. I get bored in relationships after 2-4 weeks, no matter who it is. That in a nutshell is why I'm single in y 30s, I have no actual desire to be with a woman longterm, I just want to shoot ropes inside them. I always hear I won't be like that once I "find the right one". That's all bullsh!t. "Love" is just oxycontin in your brain, it's just chemicals. I just want to reproduce to a tall and intelligent woman, so I have genetically gifted kids. I don't want to waste my genetics on a short genetically inferior woman. (Ded fkn Srs)

Almost 40. Been single my whole life and always will be. No pressure to find someone, absolutely zero.

Why am I single? No girls are interested in me. Never been even remotely close to marriage or even a LTR really.

Do I feel pressure? Yeah a lot. Not desperate enough to ever settle so starting to realize I'm likely going to be alone which does not sound fun imo. Unfortunately this isn't something to try and force though. It'll either happen or it won't, but yeah the pressure has mounted that the window for it happening is nearly entirely closed. Literally need to find someone within the next 2-3 years to start the relationship before I'm just flat out too old for anyone that isn't too old themselves.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

We must be twins. I've had the exact same quote spouted at me by friends, and I think it just doesn't apply to me.

I like seeing somebody 2-3x a week and hanging out doing fun stuff together and fkn, and then doing my own thing the rest of the time. That doesn't work most women. For the most part they all want full blown commitment like you're married after the first month of dating. There's generally no compromise that I can find in this, as I'm just not wired that way.

Parents aren't upset about me not having kids, however they both suppose that I'll wind up with wife and kids anyway even if I'm against the idea today.

I'm 27 though so I guess I'm not meant for this thread yet. But I'll tell you what, the only time I actually ever potentially meet people is at the bar, gym, or the grocery store. Working fully remote is AWESOME but comes with lots of solitude.

I broke up with my long term gf of 8 years around this time last year. I've had so much sex with married women and women in 'committed relationships' that I have developed trust issues.

i am but I’m a single father with 2 daughters. Was married for about 8 yrs, divorce was finalized a couple years ago…. and then since Dec, I’ve had full custody of them…. don’t even know if their mom will ever be back around in their lives at this point tbh

so, that’s rly my main focus…. just them, work and the gym

I’ve had one relationship since my split from my ex wife and then a few other flings that lasted anywhere from 1-3 months roughly, give or take

so yeah, idk…. don’t rly know if I’ll find someone or not. But at this point in my life, I’m looking at whether or not the chick would be good for my daughters…. ya know? Given the circumstances…. of course I’d want them to be someone that’s good for me too, but I think I mainly want it for my girls because they deserve it…. they didn’t do anything to deserve this crap that’s went down with their mom and her not being here

but yeah, I miss the companionship tho. I went a lil wild after me and the ex wife split, thus the multiple flings…. but I’m kinda over that chit now. I haven’t even dated or anything since last summer. Just kinda in the mood these days more so for something real and genuine…. not just some bullchit fling to rack up another notch on the belt

In my early 30s and single. Culturally I feel like it's a dangerous time to get into a relationship. Sloots are just ruthless, and have so many options that they never really lose when it comes to relationships. Can just drop you on a dime and find 1000 other d!cks to follow-up with.
I'd love to find a nice girl that is wife-material and have a kid or two, but I just don't trust people in 2022. Even looking at dating apps, briefly, I find their standards / demands a bit perplexing. And the state of most of them is either obesity, extremist baby-killing Marxism, or both.

I know a guy who was kicked out of his family's house. I guess the wife's parents own the house. Well he is still dumping his entire fuking check into their joint acount, she spends everythign and found out the other day he is now living in a homeless shelter and he bikes to work every day. They got like 3-4 kids together in a high COL area. He is completely fuked. He has no real way out of this besides disappearing. Its too soon for them to have some kind of official arrangement yet on childsupport they arent divorced yet. If his credit gets wrecked he is completely fuked.

Marriage is beyond dead to me, shacking up isn't on my menu, i'm not looking for anything serious and i still feel no pressure whatsoever from relatives, family, etc. I got a group of buddies that are single as well so lately if we free we'll hit a bar or a club or just hang out. Me being single means I can stay out without my phone blowing up from a baby momma or gf wondering where am i, or i can up and move to wherever state or country i want to go to.

My biggest obstacle is traffic or TSA if flying
someone who's in an LTR's biggest obstacle is not going since their wife isn't on board or girlfriend.

Happy alone
No longer so upset about having to turn down those I like since risk of family court, since happy alone, but I do want to free the existing slaves.
World is ran by evil people, so I'll carve out my own happy safe space.

I'm not jealous of 95% of couples. I'm glad I don't have to sleep with them or pay them. Just sad I did not date in high school and earlier when there was no marriage pressure.

I know many unhappy couples who only act happy in public.

I don't know how much money you make but I make good money, especially when I was in my 30s, and I'm not the bulldog masculine type, unless you could the fact that I lift. So there are women out there who do well financially and aren't bulldogs. I work with many of them. Like you said, if she makes close to what you make, then your risk wouldn't be that high.

Never wanted to be married or have kids, I go from short term relationship to short term relationship, or hookup. It’s extremely hard to find someone worth a damn for even any type of long term relationship. Most women out there are very damaged in one way or another, even the younger ones. It’s really not worth the headache to put up with someone who is immature, doesn’t care to understand anything, who parrots leftist talking points or scrolls on social media all day. Like I get it, we live in a relatively boring place that is cold as a witches tit 4 months out of the year and there’s nothing to do except sit around but at least try to improve yourself. They can’t even do that. When I drive by the community college that I went to I look around and all of the women are as fat as hogs. Like 19 years old and already bloatmaxxxed up to linebacker status. It’s ridiculous. Society isn’t even really the same that I grew up in and I’m only 30 now. I feel like Clint Eastwood sitting there on his porch in Gran Torino, looking out at the world and just being generally disgusted with the direction that it is going.

So yea. The day I find a woman who is fit and healthy, is conservative on most issues, who will go shoot guns with me, give up the poon whenever I ask for it, not waste money, and not attention whore on social media constantly maybe I’ll change my position. Until then? I’ll just continue to get my rocks off with random women that I can find. They’re honestly not worth much more than that these days. I guess most people would call it high standards.

I am 31 and single. Could have been married by now but at the time my ex was ready and had a whole life plan, and I still had no idea who I was or what I wanted. The difference now is that I do know what I want and who I am.

Of course I have a lot of pressure. I have 1 older sister that is 34 and stopped talking to our family last year because of "anxiety" or some excuse, and I am the only male left to carry on our last name. I have a flag encased in oak from my grandfather's 3 volley salute when we buried my grandmother with him given to me because I am the one to carry on the name. I view it as positive pressure though. IMO the most important thing I can do is have children and raise them to be the best they can be and in a loving and family oriented environment. I went through all the life scenarios and I can't imagine a future without a family of my own.

I don't have a time pressure though being a male. I don't want to wait super long, and I am looking for the right woman. I won't just settle to settle. But I have 4 older female cousins that are 36, 38,42,42. The youngest just got married last year at 35. All of them got married in their 30s and all of their husbands have been older and started having kids mid 30s. One guy was 42 when he married my cousin and has a kid now.

So all in all, I am single because I spent time figuring out what I really wanted in life, haven't found the right woman to settle down with yet, and am not in a major rush despite having outside pressures.
