When I was at University I have spent that many hours and far more in a single session, but nowadays its 3 hours per week at most. Such is life

EDIT: Also it really is not about the hours you spent as much as it is about how you spend those hours.

Between 1.5 2.5 hours in the morning, 20-30 mins moderate cardio in the evening 5 days on 1 day off, probably overtraining slightly but it's working for me and lifts are going up plus I feel refreshed. If I start stalling I will cut back for a couple weeks

Yes. Wtf are you doing for 3 hours?

I'd say 2 hours absolute maximum. More like 45min - 1.5 hours ideally and up your intensity.

1 - 1.5 hour weights and warm up
30 mins cardio
30 mins stretching

Guess it's 2 hours
