I feel like I'm addicted to pressing F5 and finding new threads with people to argue and embolden my ego with. Imagine how much happier and how much more free time we would all have if the MISC shut down (srs)

I like everyone here, even the libs bring the lol’s, whether they mean to or not, but there is no replacing what this forum is. Will be missed, but I’ll be able to get more done, & spend more time with friends, family etc.

Some people on here truly need need to go outside/get professional help, so i see it as a very postitve thing. I used to laugh my ass off going through threads back in 2010. Its now just like every other social platform, a contest to see who's the most sad and depressed but alot more gai somehow.

If it didn't happen last night, it's not going to. I think the whole permanent maintenance spiel was just a bloated threat. Aside from the Misc section, there are tens of thousand of users covering the entire forum. How many of those people don't use adblockers? More than those who do. They'd lose a ton of ad revenue shutting down for any "extended" period.
