I really doubt the Misc will just 'shut down' lol
It's a free forum; so i cant see the reason why it be should be shut down.
It will just be a dead forum; you see those all the time.

Lol I wouldn't be concerned at all. This misc forum is practically dead because they disallowed new registration like a couple months ago. All that's going to happen is to let blood letting continue meaning in 100 years yes we are all going to die and yes this misc forum will die.
There is not much point in removing it because already restricted to the point that new registrations are not allowed.
All they will do is hide the forum which they have done. Why exactly would they remove it other then to save storage space. It's not like news media can enter this forum since new registration is stopped.
Only way misc is removed is if the whole forum section is removed. No point in removing an already hidden deregistered section
