i'm convinced that when Dr. Dre dies, it's gonna be like 2pac all over again where like 15 albums worth of stuff is released

it's not like Dre ever became a recluse with writer's block, he's just hyper picky about what he releases... so many artists have said that they hear his unreleased music all the time and it's insanely good but Dre just doesn't want to release it because it's not exactly what he wants people to hear

i just hope we get to hear some of those Ice Cube and Rakim album songs someday

I agree with you. When he passes all those albums will come out however I think thats lame, just release it when you are alive. Music artist will never put out an album that EVERYONE will like, but in his case he doesnt care what others think but what HE thinks. I think he should just drop an album who cares if it doesnt get that well received. Metallica dropped St Anger in 2003 and everyone ****ted on that album.

Can't blame him. He knows the game. Dude has tons of money. Made more money of his Beat's headphones than he ever did rap. His name and status brings him all the money he needs and he already has enough to live very well the rest of his life. He knows that there are very high expectations of what he releases so he comes out with anything that isn't GOAT he could be though of as a has been and destroy his rep and it all falls apart. If it comes from him it can't be good, it has to be great.
