My buddy said "happy wife, happy life" out loud.

Now I've been married 15 years, so I agree with it to an extent, but to actually hear it said out loud was a bit...gut wrenching.

There’s nothing more discouraging than seeing a man who seemed to have married the ideal woman and did everything right as a man, only to see the marriage turn to sh!t in spite of everything.

By all accounts she had her chit together before he did. She helped to prop him up, moved him in, etc etc... I wonder if she's making a power play now that he's in a better position. "You better not remember how you got here."
