Almost positive I woke up with Covid

Fuark am I gonna make it boys? I still have my taste but everything else feels exactly like the flu and the worst is the body ache and sore throat. Going to stay hydrated and lay around today, hopefully power through it. I can’t believe it took this long to get to be honest. We had a family get together yesterday has to be from that.

Just make sure you stay hydrated. I made the mistake of just sleeping all day and got up, blacked out and busted my lip and chin. Other than that, I was fine in like 2 days.

Getting over it rn too here, my woman and I were two of the only people we knew who hadn't caught it yet

Fever in the beginning, body aches + sore throat + cough + nasal congestion after

I think loss of sense of taste and smell is less common with Omicron, didn't experience that

If you get super bad headaches use Excedrin. I went from feeling like i was dying to perfectly normal after taking one.

Immune systems of piss ITT. I've had far worse colds. Wouldn't have known any of us had it if one of my kids didn't already have an appointment at the pediatrician. I did have a headache for a few days. Took Ibuprofen, then felt normal.

OP, you didn't get it from a get together yesterday. More like a couple days earlier. Could be regular flu.

One of my closest buds said that everything tastes like metal (2 weeks ago) and eating and drinking sucks now.
Keep us posted, hopefully just a flu.

Loss of taste and smell is rare for omicron, just more like regular cold/flu symptoms (aches, fever, sore throat, etc.).

Could be that having kids gives your immune system broader exposure that helps, or you were just exposed to a lower viral load for COVID, or who knows what

So lost my taste and smell after lunch, also threw up heavily. Was one of those where you can't breathe at all while gagging throwups. Sheesh, this shiet is no joke. Tempted to go sit out in the sun and sweat it out.

Yeah, I definitely am getting a weird taste. I can "taste" the coldness of a drink, and thats about it. I might go crazy if this shiet last 6 months. Also I was thinking about it, and it couldn't have been from the family get together yesterday. Our GM's wife at work tested positive for covid and came in to work the next day around everyone feeling horrible but wouldn't go home and wanted to give people hugs. Im seriously pissed that dumb whore gave this to me.

One of my friends sweated it out overnight. Another said you have to stay active (walk, stand or at least sit up) and keep moving.

It is a challenge to give advice for this because I have seen a wide array of illnesses be called c-19.

IDK if it is the different strains, individual responses, course of action/supps/drugs, or what, but people I know who have all tested positive have had vastly different illnesses. My bro, who is a pureblood, got it 2-3 times and the most recent one left him with "long covid".

Covid ain't no joke. Don't believe misc that says it's just another flu.

I have known people who have passed away from Covid.

Take a lot of Vitamin C , fresh ginger, and Tumeric.

Stay safe

Also this: I hardly get sick when I take it.

For me the fatigue, muscle ache, and headaches were the most telling sign to me that it was COVID. Got a positive result from a rapid test shortly after feeling those symptoms at a CVS clinic. The worst of it was over in 4 days. By around day 7 I felt nearly perfect/normal. I lost taste for solely 8 hours period around the climax of it all. Taste was mildly back the next morning, and fully back by end of that day.

There are at least a dozen other things it could be besides Covid. Get yourself tested. Covid is mild nowadays, especially if you're not extremely obese or old enough to remember where you were when you heard about JFK's assassination. The last 2 yrs have thrown everything off, so infections that normally barely spread at all during summer like flu or RSV are common right now too.

People are going out and in crowds and at parties again, so lots of people.
I caught a chest/lung thing that wasn't covid from crappy sleep, stress, redlining it at the gym, and long hours helping the gf move.

I took Vitamin D, Vitamin C, Quercitin, and ate oysters every 2 days.
I also walked around outside after day 5 I think it was. It sucked so I went and got glutathione injections once a week for two months afterwards. Hope this helps.
I also got NAD+ and it helped bring my sense of smell back and got rid of alot of brain fog I had. But they say NAD+ can be dangerous so I only did it twice.
