Too many Dingers looking to peacefully protest roaming them.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

When I was a teenager there was a mall in Southern California where Catholic school girls would frequent after school hours, some of them had awesome legs. Back then I wanted to make a comic book about a guy who gets shrunk down to like an inch tall at a mall and tries to escape from them.
Now that I’m older, I want to focus on female characters who are 18-25, so I don’t weird my family out. Imagine trying to explain something that is a fetish containing 16 year old girls to your family.

But good job by you OP, you were NOT doing mindless consumerism, you were looking for a specific book that you need. This is good.
If anyone is looking for a different kind of experience, go find (and hopefully get in) one of those "ghost" malls - - - either dying or already empty and abandoned.
It gives me such melancholy feelings to walk around in one of those, imaging all the life that was once lived there, after school, holidays, Xmas, etc, the people that worked there and shopped there that are no longer around.
