Koreans are so goddamn tall

Was waiting for the subway and saw at least 5 or 6 Korean dudes within my vicinity who are btw 6'1~6'3.

Who says Asians are short?

I felt pretty tall in Thailand at 6'0 but feel avg as fk now that I'm in Korea.

Notsureifsrs. I'm a legit 6'0 (182 cm) and I can still easily spot at least 10+ men who are taller than me when I'm waiting for the subway during busy hours.

Yes, there are way more who are shorter than me, but I was still surprised to see how easy it is to spot 6'1+ men in Korea.

Avg height for men in their 20s and 30s is 5'9. It's pretty accurate data since all men have their heights measured before they enlist in the military.

Eh... did you live in Seoul? Get on the subway during busy hours in the morning. I guarantee you will easily find many men who are taller than you especially if you are under 6'0.

I never lived in Seoul

I lived in Uijongbu, Gumi, Busan, Daegu

Busan's one of my favorite cities in the world.

The only tall Koreans I met was whenever I went to an MMA/Muay Thai gym.

I'd say about 90% were shorter than me. Some were as tall as me but it was rare to see one taller.

I only ever saw one overweight girl.

Yeah, you will see a chit ton of 6'0+ men if you visit Seoul (makes sense since half the population lives there).

I'm obviously biased since we tend to notice those taller than us more easily. But it's still quite eye-opening to see so many tall Asian dudes since Hollywood would make you believe most Asians are 5'4 twinks.

I'm Korean and I was looking forward to heightmogging my fellow Korean brothers but was humbled quick, lmao.

I'm pretty lean at 200 lb though which is probably more rare than being 6'0 in Korea so I guess I've got that going for me
