What was the last actual music cd you purchased?

Thread title.

Streaming is definitely the way to go but I admit I like to hear an album from beginning to end sometimes.

Never been much of a fan of vinyl either.

I think I've only brought 3 CDs in my life. Two of them were singles and Encore from Eminem is the only full album I've ever purchased.

I was 17 and at a soccer tournament in Vegas for 6 days. My team and the girls u18 team were walking the strip. We came across this black guy selling his cd of his music. He said any amount of money will due. So some of use gave him like $2-5 because we were broke, others gave him like $20 because he was a cool guy.

This dudes music was amazing. I can't for the life of me find the CD now. I just remember bumping this in our hotel room and everyone looking at each other like this dude should be the next Kanye West.

That was the last CD I ever bought.

I purchased “In Their Darkened Shrines” by Nile at the local mall in 2002. Was a sophomore in high school at the time. I remember it clearly because the chick cashier, a real Ramona Flowers type, was giving me the side eye when I threw it down on the checkout counter.

Still buy CDs. I like having the physical media, artwork, booklet, photos, etc. I just bought like 6 Bathory CDs a couple days ago.

I bought it for the woman i was dating a few years ago. Liz Phair pulled her music from youtube, and we were going to see her at a small concert hall in chicago.

Plus you can see her nipples on the album cover.

Silk Sonic, the CD was purchased at Target and made in Germany, go figure.

How The West Was Won live album from Zep probably 15 years ago. I recently purchased a Toshiba boombox CD player/bluetooth combo that I started playing CDs in when the mood strikes, once a month or so. In general I prefer to listen to whole albums vs songs.
