Son just got an 1140 SAT as a 10th Grader.

Sorta wonder what he can expect in the line of work with those kind of scores? Is it over for him even before it began?

The SAT tests some math he won't get to until he finishes sophomore year, so there's a little hope to be found there.

Ya, the writing is pretty much scrapped unless a college wants that portion. No one relaly wants it tho so 1600 is the tops.

Did he take any preparation classes beforehand? Some people just need to learn their own specific techniques on how to retain information. The reason why so many people dislike school, is because a lot of the old learning techniques in the classroom aren't effective for a lot of people. (Ded fkn Srs)

Scored a 1060 or some ****e on my SATs. Ended up as a registered PE in 3 states + DC so needless to say SAT only matters to college admission boards.

My first SAT was a 1600/2400 which is even worse than your son

After Taking SAT Prep I was able to get 2100/2400 which is like a 1400

He has 2 years to take the SATs again. Have him take a prep course. He can easily bump that to 1400. Srs.
