I think guys can stretch their prime of being their most attractive self to the widest range of women up to age 40, maybe a couple of years past that if they have top tier facial and body genetics as well as good style and all the other things that matter. They can continue remaining handsome (and slaying mad poocy) after that into their fifties if they take care of themselves but there's really no hiding their age at that point and they're basically moved from the prime group of men to the "old" but still good looking group . Man's overall genetic prime is really 25 to 35.

If you stay in your own age demographic and take care of yourself it should remain relatively linear, possibly get better due to everyone else looking like chite.














If you age, and stick to only one demographic (lets say early 20's) then obviously your going to get owned hard by life as your un-realistic which you deserve.

Only way your smv is higher at 40 than 25, is if at 25 you were a fat slobby loser.

I am in top tier shape for my age, great hair. Financially stable, well above average facial aesthestics. My smv isn't nearly what it was at 25. That's just facts, I'm comfortable with reality.

As you get older, if you keep yourself in good shape and attractive FOR YOUR AGE, you can slay easily. Which means have good muscle and stay trim, be able to make conversation and have charisma and have a decent job you enjoy. It also gives you access to a wider range of women. Yes, maybe the younger ones will be out of reach but odds are you aren't going to want to date them anyway.

At 47 I can date anyone from 32 to 55 and because of the above, I'm a catch and it's like fish in a barrel. I can get laid literally any weekend if I jump on Tinder on Wednesday with minimal effort.

A lot of that probably has to do with the fact your life is different now. Married with children and most of your friends in the same boat...I think a single 35 year old with looks, money, status can still compete with his 25 year old self. But it is absolutely last call and there's only a few years left.

It really depends on the guy.

What usually happens is guys will be married for 15-20 years and their wife leaves. They were comfortable in the marriage so let themselves go. Now they are fat, out of shape, unattractive, broke and have lost off of their self confidence.

Really you can be any age but if you meet those criteria, no way in hell would a woman find you appealing. I dont blame them. Thats why you see guys latching on to the first ugly woman they find who will accept them and marrying that. Turns out the same way almost every time.

What you need to do is to address yourself first. Get yourself back into shape and get some self confidence back. Focus just on yourself and also paying off your bills.

Take a few years to do that and your stock instantly will go way up. If you need a woman, just find some low hanging fruit to build your game back up. Work your way up just like you would anything else in life.

Now you will be older but financially more stable, unattached, in shape and full of self confidence. Thats all the stuff women are looking for.

For most guys it does. The truth of the matter is most guys don't take care of themselves the same way they did in their 20s. So all these if's and buts about being in top shape at 35-40 are BS and apply to 1% of the population. Like HayZeus mentioned even if they are still in shape at 35-40, their smv will be less than it was in their youth.
