Worked Commercial Fishing in the Bering Sea
Made 20k (before tax) in 6 weeks. It was insane. 20-22 hour shifts. A lot of posts are about how hard it is to make it nowadays, but Brown king crab pays 250k a season (2.5 months). Wish me luck boyos.

Edit: by boat share you mean our percentage after expenses? I made 6% after food, fuel, equipment, bait, ect.

Definitely good money to be made. And I have known deck bosses and deck hands who have made close to $250K in a full year where they were able to hit multiple fisheries.
They were never home, and it is a brutal way to make a living when fishing that much. But they certainly made good money.

My cousin was a fisherman out in sea. He would leave 6 months at a time. And make 150k ik 6 months but get taxed like crazy. But he said it's rough. Not many people can do it. So miring mang get that paper!
