Anyone else into watches?

For some reason I’ve been into watches lately. A couple weeks ago I got like 3 compliments in one day on a watch I was wearing. Honestly I would never expect to get a compliment on a watch, it’s nothing I thought someone would notice.

About a year ago I got a watch for being a groomsman in a wedding and ever since then my interest has increased.

Then I see this video on YouTube and it made me even more interested. Not just to wear them, but maybe even work on them.

The mechanics are just so fascinating to me. Anyone else have a collection or wear a watch on a regular basis?

Video is 52 minutes of this dude taking this Rolex apart and repairing it.

I used to collect vintage watches and had well over 200 at the peak. Wore a different watch to work every day and it took months to get through them all and start over again. Retired in late 2017 and have sold off the vast majority and down to a couple dozen left to sell. I wear a 2021 Omega Speedmaster Professional almost daily now.

Had an Omega aqua terra that I sold, thinking about getting another Omega.
