Here are my thoughts on Simulation Theory.

Now I am fairly certain we are in one. I have been thinking what would be the goal of our simulators.

1) research purposes. Before they release a new medicine in their reality they could test it on us. Or they might be doing sociological researches on us)

2) its a game. They can jack in when they want to play. Maybe this explains the stupidly succesful people.

3) like in the movie Matrix (fuk the 4th though it was awful) we could be source of energy for a higher being

Also if you are religious automatically you believe in the ST (living in a temporary world and be judged by a higher being). I think in Bible it was claimed that God made us to test if we can achieve to be like him. That is also an interesting approach.
