As a old man Im finding it hard to fight the feeling, worlds falling part

People don't feel they owe anything to anybody else, literally fuk everybody else

You guys get up in arms when I pointed it out about the Thin Blue line shirts. But it could be the young Black or Brown kid that shoulders checks you or the soccer mom that cuts you off on the high way.

Every single person who doesn't take any pride or put effort into their jobs.

All this is petty small stuff, but augers something fundamentally broke in our system





This is no way to run a society

This is our world now. We've ran off the cliff and are on propelled forward only by momentum. Gravity will eventually kick in. We're fukt. We've been fukt a while, I knew it when I got out of school when the ideals of "work hard and do the right thing" were being constantly impeded by either red tape or absolute laziness and incompetence.
Virtue is its own reward.

Can't fight the feeling nobody ever asked me. I was born into it, fed a bunch of lies, some half truth kicked in the azz and told to go make something out of myself. I didn't bother

So I guess it is on me a bit.

Agree w/ OP's overall sentiment. IMO, 1 of 2 things happen:

1) tech advances so much that we are able to be sedated on a mass scale and just have technology take care of us

2) world devolves into all out chaos, eventually the weak bugmen who created this mess are wiped out, takes a little longer for the degenerates to be wiped out, then society can rebuild.
