I get hes annoying and at times I listen to his podcast and he can come across as a douche. Moreover, I am well aware he is a complete trash comedian. HOWEVER, the hate this man gets is crazy. The fact that he hasnt offed himself is an accomplishment in itself.

I think he bothered some fans when he leaked the MMA and Boxing streams subreddits on Twitter like an idiot and that subreddit got removed.

He is harmless aloof guy to me and never hated the guy at all even though his comedy is cringe its hard to watch his stand up thats how bad it is he has Zero Self Awareness, and you need to be like that to make it as far as Shaub did, none of the comedians respect him they just put up with him because he is Joe Rogans friend and Rogan treats him like a kid brother and is protective of him.

the hate he gets is usually from the nerdy beta male types. They look at him as the dumb jock who made it, and doesn't deserve where he is at. They see him buying fancy cars, and boasting about making 5 plus million a year now off podcasts and having a hot girlfriend and buy a new mansion in Calabasas, California and it makes them fume with jealousy that a guy like tht with no charisma can be such an overachiever.


I think Joy Coco Diaz who is friends with Brendan and Rogan said that 20 years ago Shaube would never be famous that the owner of the laugh factory would insult him and kick him out because he would be considered hack comic or waste of time, he said the qualifications to be famous today are so much lower the standards are so low thanks to social media and YouTube anyone can become famous there is no more having to have true talent or going to improv or acting school.

There is a little bit of resentment because he is not just a terrible comedian, but a truly talentless hack. He doesn’t just get “opportunities” this guy is actually specials, features, and continues to get work even though no one likes him.

m curious how the hell this guy got so many major gigs, its baffled to be honest because he legit has no charisma, is not handsome, he is slurring his words now and doesn't have quick wit, yet he was able to land a Showtime special and also host the Academy Awards red carpet specials which are a big deal.

All I know is Shaub has the greatest talent agent known to man.
