Will you teach your girl to have a career?

Or will you teach her to be a good wife / mother & only pick men that Can provide for her?

IMO second option is 100 times more important to society yet even «conservatives» want their daughters to act like men & chase education/career goals & send their kid to strangers at daycare

I have a two year old daughter and my wife is 8 months pregnant with another girl. Planning on stopping after two kids so it's gonna be three females and me in my house.

I will definitely urge them to have careers. My wife has a successful career and she actually makes more than I do, and it's going great.

I don't "teach" them either of those. I help them be self sufficient problem solvers, Follow their interests, be kind to others, and confidence. They can choose a career or a relationship someday.

I have two daughters. I want them both to get an education and have the ability to provide for themselves but I also want them to consider being a full time mother as a fulfilling option.

Things happen, even when women make all the right choices (husband's die, divorce, etc) and I want my daughters to have as many tools as possible to lead a happy life. But I hope to teach them that focusing on being a mother may be the most fulfilling option and that careers are fine but shouldn't get in the way of family. The goal is to give them the protective to figure out for themselves what will make them happy.

3 daughters crew. Will also push education/career. My wife works 0.8 which means she gets off at 2:30 for school pickup which is ideal. My wife works in pediatrics and is very motherly, I’d hope my kids would emulate her in that sense as it’s pretty ideal all around. Careers I’d push for my girls (ultimately their choice) would include PT/OT/speech/Dr/vet, and academia. Avoid trades (no hate), and don’t pursue sports
or arts as a career in any way.

The kids are afforded many things due to our dual income but we are fortunate that when we do need daycare both sets of grandparents live in our town.

I teach my girl to have dreams, goals, ambition, and most importantly to get good grades and study hard.I also encourage involvement in sports. If you do this, there will be no reason for her to latch on to dave the drug dealer. Also, send her to private school so shes not socializing with regular plebs in public school. Gotta make sure they get indoctrinated into being successful or else she will be some tatted freak working at twin peaks in her 20's. I also spend LOTS of quality time with her to make sure she doesn't have any daddy issues in her 20's. Absolutely no reason for your kids to not look up to you like the best example in the world. If they don't, thats on you. Quality time is the most important thing you can do in any relationship whether it be wifey, kids, etc. Definitely not pushing for her to be a tradie like me, even if that is where the bread and butter comes from. Right now, she has dreams of becoming a veterinarian.

I have a sister who is 14 years younger, so I kinda helped bring her up. She has a great relationship with myself and her dad. She plays sports, does well in school, is super family oriented and has a boyfriend who we've welcomed into our home who is basically like family. I think just having a good relationship and not being over protective and over bearing is the key. She's going to school on a full ride athletic scholarship and will have a career of her own.

I think the mentality that every girl is a sloot and should be housewives or raised muslim/asian is just incel rhetoric.
