So I don't actually sweat a lot, but caffiene makes me sweat and I like my coffee at least a few times per week, and other times (maybe when stress is higher) I just sweat. It's annoying.

I wear antiperspirant at night (Dove) and trim armpit hair but I really wish that on some days it could do a better job of slowing it down.



Anyone know what the next best step is?

Does the "clinical strength" require a prescription, and does it work? Or is that just marketing BS?

Sweat is a part of life. The next step is to accept that truth and become more comfortable with the sensation of perspiration. blocking your pores with chemicals can't be healthy.

This. Stopping sweat is bad. You should avoid antiperspirants. Idfk how they’re still a thing.

I used to sweat profusely. Especially with activity. It always smelled fairly bad too. Nothing noticeable to others but if I lifted up my arms and sniffed...woh boy.

1. Lose weight/bf. I am down a lot of weight from my peak and I rarely sweat now besides general perspiration in hot weather.
2. Cologne. Find certain colognes that work well on your skin and aren't super strong. Put it on your neck and wrists. This does nothing with stopping sweat, but the more you sweat the more it can even help the smell of cologne and mitigating the sweat smell
3. Certain shirts. Other miscers have already touched on that.

Sweating is natural. Comes with the territory of being a man really. All I did was focus more on what helps make it smell better and diet + a little softer cologne helped a ton. Plus losing 45lbs helped the most haha

Does it still feel uncomfortable, like does it all gather up and feel wet right there on the pad?

Idk, I feel like if it was really bad, there's be more noise about it. I don't see any scientific articles coming out saying it's bad really.
