Why can some people not do things alone?

I prefer doing most things alone. I’m fine socializing and at parties and stuff and it’s nice to have friends to go bowling with or go to sports game with, but most things I’d just rather do on my own.

I just find it annoying having to wait for other people to get ready for going out to eat, deciding what they want to have etc..

Blows my mind some people can’t go grocery shopping alone or do anything alone. Is it anxiety or something? I travelled around Europe alone so maybe I’m used to it, but anyone know these feels?

I'm fine doing most things alone. I have gone to movies and concerts alone. I do not like going out to eat alone. I've done it a couple times and it just feels weird.

because most people are not comfortable being alone with their own thoughts. Most people are merely an extension of the people they associate with. People are NPCs.

You really need someone to talk to between bites, otherwise the only option is to look at your phone like everyone else or just scarf the food down

Even being alone drinking at a bar is better
