Nathan for you is one of the GOAT shows. I also watched How To with John Wilson which Nathan was a producer on. How to was pretty interesting in how he made the show, but wasn’t particularly funny or entertaining, more like a piece of art.

Will check out anything Nathan’s apart of

This show has floored me so far.

The level of absurdity is 10x Nathan for You.

Love that he is sticking to his "forever alone" schtick. I predict that on the finale he proposes to that crazy christian chick to get married but never have sexual relations so that they can have a family together.

All in all, no one has ever made me laugh harder without saying a joke than Nathan Fielder.

Just saw EP 4. Totally off the rails. I think the only point of this show is for Nathan to convince us he is an insane person.

Haha. Not totally surprising given they found the most insane christian person ever and Nathan loves to exploit ppls weaknesses.

I did LOL when the rabbi lady accused the girl of being anti-semitic. Misc would have loved it - classic reductio ad antisemtism. Also lol'd when she was justifying the bombing of pakistan and that the media is biased against israel and all of the greatest inventions have come from israel and Nathan is just like "ummmm"

I can only imagine what the last episode has in store for us

My gf really didn't understand the humor of this show. So I threw on the first season of Nathan for you, then we watched rehearsal again and she finds it funny now.

I think you gotta watch some Nathan for you to understand his humor and awkwardness esp since rehearsal is just ridiculously awkward

Yeah very bizarre. My best guess of what happened was that the pilot was the concept, but they actually had a hard time finding ppl like that guy in the pilot to actually go through with the whole thing -- probably had lots of dropouts. So they salvaged it (they had to, given the insane budget) with the weird pretend daddy story.

Actually felt bad for that little kid srs and thought Nathan was kind of a jerk for sort of blaming the mom.

Overall: definitely worth a watch, but approach it more like avant garde art than a comedy. Kind of disappointing, and disappointed at Nathan in last episode.

I am shocked that this got picked up for a 2nd season.

I agree it feels like COVID and circumstances like dropouts made them scramble.


But they found some gold with the Angela broad and the Scion TC guy
