Sober August. Who’s in? (Srs)

Been struggling with alcohol for almost two years now. Have cut back a LOT but I still give in at times and over indulge. Trying to cut back before I join the 27 club

NAC or N-acetyl cysteine is an antioxidant so very good for liver

Tudca is Tauroursodeoxycholic so basically a bile acid which is also very good for the liver

9 weeks and 2 days IN.
Feel bored most of the time and unsatisfied after the first 4 weeks or so. Everything feels like it takes longer or pointless srs.

In AF. Much needed!

Broke a 103 day streak of alcohol on July 3rd and drank most of the month away.... $1600 of "wasted money" later I'm ready to pull back again.

Even with my bday coming up on 8/6, I'll just stick to the green. Feels good to not run up a bar tab, to hit the gym on a daily basis, and to wake up feeling fresh in the morning.

I never drank much, just on weekends.

However, in 2019 I stopped to support a loved one with substance abuse problems and I am very happy I did.

I feel even better than I usually do and my memory got much sharper.

Quit drinking!
