Computer brahs... quick question about RAM replacement

The original RAM card(s) one went bad (bad memory)

I tried to order the closest i could find using those numbers/specs on the card in the picture. Same company and what not.

But the new cards wouldn't fit in the slot. Didn't line up (was off like 1/2 inch)

Is there a card that will fit? How the fuk do I know if it will fit before ordering? I sent the ones I bought back.

Depending on your motherboard, it might require DDR3 or DDR4 sticks.

OK thanks. I looked at the specs of the ones i returned and they are DDR3.... So i assume i need DDR4? I don't know the motherboard (i'm not around it).

what model is your motherboard? It will specify the RAM specs on the box/manual
