Going sober and working out more as you get older?
So, as with age it gets harder to lose weight (obviously due to bad habits)
But curious if anyone has really toned down their old habits (junk food, alcohol, smoking cigs, etc) in a pre-emptive move?

ive done this the last few years. only drink a few times a year, on vacations or holidays. Focus on doing athletic things for fun instead of drinking. example, if i go to the lake for the weekend, instead of getting day drunk on the boat, i might kayak around for a few hours.
I do a lot of mountain biking too. id rather stay sober and ride bikes for 4 hours than sit in a bar on a sunny fall saturday and watch collage football. fun as that is...
