Logan's Shuffle Mixtape (soundcloud)

"In the year 2235, Dome city has been rebuilt and Carrousel has been re-instated. Follow Logan 7 as he retraces his Grandfathers footsteps."

This is an instrumental hop hop project based on the movie Logan's Run (1976). 99% of the samples and dialog come straight from the movie. Runtime = 22 min

This is extremely well done. Srsly masterful work. Even more than a hip hop album, it’s an experience. Instrumental storytelling. Even if you’re not aware of the film it’s based on (as I wasn’t) the sample chops on this thing are fantastic and each track layered with so many detailed touches. Give it a spin. Immerse yourself in the music. Jandels has blessed us with another great project.

My favorite tracks: Carousel, Circuit, Run and Sanctuary.

I had some feedback about my beats being too quantized. I'm trying to fix it, not sure if I'm there yet.
