I do the same with my girl but not really intentionally

there are ways to show you are confident in who you are and that your life wont be over if she left.

Talking to her isnt going to do anything. Any chick that would say something like that has a screw loose- she will tell OP what he wants to hear while still abiding by her fukked up values.

At the end of the day it's not even worth a conversation, that's how she thinks and isn't going to change, he needs to break it off.
