Going on lasix boyos (diuretics)

prescribed by the doc, he thinks I'm retaining fluid, I'll be on them at least a month for a high dose.

The reason is I had open heart surgery last year, and I have some edema (fluid retention)

I will post pics to show you the effects of diuretics maybe a month from now, I'm also interested to see the change.

Make sure you are getting enough potassium

And don't take it too late in the day or you will be up all night pissing

Yeah I was on them before and had potassium prescribed, this time it was a different doctor and I mentioned that to him and he didn't seem concerned about it, guess I'll just be eating lots of bananas and such

Yeah, I take it in the morning, haven't started this "cycle" yet, but will tomorrow.

When I was in the hospital last year I lost about 50 lbs from the lasix over a period of like 3 days, I was unrecognizable, went from almost 220 down to like 165.
