Who was worst? Soviets and their gulags or Nazis and holocaust?
The Soviets killed people for being Christian and sent many to forced labor camps called gulags. Over 18 million people were sent to the gulags and died from disease, starvation, or exhaustion. The Russians also killed 6 million through the holdomor.
The Nazis killed people for being Jewish and sent many to fixed labor camps such as Auschwitz. 6 million people were sent to the camps and died from disease, starvation, exhaustion, and murder.
So which was worse?

They are both unfathomably terrible. I guess you could make a case either way. You could say the soviets based on body count. At that same time, the Nazi's systematic method of mass extermination in slaughter houses seems more demonic and brutal.
