North korea sends a lot of prisoners who are sentenced to hard labor to Russia because Russia pays them. That's a way they make money since they produce nothing of value to the world. Really no different than NY taking out of state prisoners, they profit

Fun fact: there are no such thing as incels in North Korea because the state mandates that all adults must be married and produce children.

This because:

1) They need to maintain a stable population
2) They have something known as the "3 Generations Rule". If anyone offends the government, then 3 generations of their family are sent to labor camps (offender, offender's children, offender's parents or grandparents).

Forcing men to marry and produce kids is a form of blackmail used to keep them in line.

No such thing as a Korean volunteer. They may go, but they have no personal choice.

Let's step back and look at the bigger picture.

Under sleepy Joe Russia has invaded Ukraine, now they are MORE united with N. Korea, and China is probably going to move on Taiwan before the next presidential election. So China, N. Korea, and Russia are all involved in, or in the verge of military conflict, against democratic interests. Bidens weakness may literally lead to WWIII.

If I were a North Korean I would volunteer to go. Probably much easier to escape and get your freedom in Ukraine than it is completely trapped in North Korea with easily guardable land borders. Easier to escape in the chaos and wide open borders.
