Do you tip for counter service?
Do you tip for counter service? Like at a froyo place and they have a tip jar next to the register or an iPad that has several top options. Are you tipping?

I have given a tip before and almost every single time I got a fuked up order (sauces/sides missing, disappointing food), yet most of the time when I don’t tip everything is fine. There’s zero correlation between tips and service. Fuk em.

I tip for delivery and I tip for service at a table.
I don't tip when i have to drive there and pick my order up.
wtf kind of nonsense is that?
someone explain the logic there.

I do think there are situations where you absolutely should be tipping. Then you have everyone else who is basically trying to take advantage of the tipping culture for not doing sh*t. These account for about 80% of the people now asking you to tip them.
"One day I won't be able to lift any more. Not I won't want to lift. I mean physically unable. That day could be decades from now or it could be tomorrow. All I know is that's the day I'll wish I could lift more than ever. The day I'd give anything for one more workout, one more set, or one more cardio session. So go hard and enjoy every workout, every set, every rep. Because one day you will wake up and you will never get it back."

Not a chance in hell.
Last night I ordered something online and went to pick it up. When I got there the first thing the guy did was print the receipt grab a pen and said I needed to fill it out? I had paid online......so I gladly filled out the tip section as "0". Srs, vry srs.
No tip crew.

nope. the best part of this bull**** is that they use the server tipping scale for counter service at most places. Tipping 20% for assembling my burrito and ringing it up. Its infuriating

Lol misc. A couple weeks ago we had a tip/no tip thread and everyone posted "yeah I tip everytime cuz I'm not an ass.hole" now this thread we're back on track.
But I was told if I don't tip then they have every right to fuk with my food. Therefore I just don't eat out at restaurants.

I tip all the time for everything no fuks given (except if someone is specifically being lazy/ungracious).
Because I can and I feel a sense of socioeconomic superiority over the poor little peon I'm tipping and moral superiority over all you pathetic penny pinching losers that sweat tipping. Also I remember working service jobs when I was a young pup and looking at good tippers like ok, they made it. Feelsgoodman.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. If I'm paying cash and get coin change back I'll throw that in the jar. Sometimes I'll trow a $1. in. If I pay by card I don't usually tip. Restaurants with table service I always tip.
