Misc concert goers, gather round!
What was the best concert you've ever seen?
Who, what, when, and where? (It's an interrogation)
For me it was Pink Floyd in 94 (yes old) in East Rutherford NJ!
An old friend sent me a pic of us from the day before

I'm the middle dude, I still had a youthful glow before like cut me down.
This is the concert (I found it, not my work)

Back in the early 90's I went to a ton of concerts, I saw the grateful dead 19 times, it was more of an event than a concert though. I missed the first lollapalooza, but the second had a pretty incredible lineup in 1992... Primus, Alice in Chains, Dinosaur Jr., Fishbone, Arrested Development, Front 242, Tool, Babes in Toyland, and Rage Against the Machine
I think Jimmy Buffett was the most disappointing, I had no idea what I was in for, and got there and was like wft
These days I think Nine Inch Nails puts on a great show, I've seen them the past few times they have come through Chicago, and I'm seeing them in Sept again.

I've only been to one concert in my life. It was Lupe Fiasco when I was 19 for his LASERS tour. $5 ticket through my college.
Although I might be going to both Heilung in september and wardruna in Oct. Those will be amazing.

Rock the bells... Fug I forget what year it was.
I saw cypress hill, Nas, method man Redman, soooo many good early 2000s rappers.
It was also absolutely pouring rain and the venue was buried in mud, people were losing their shoes in the auction when they walked lol.
Concert was sick tho

Probably Bon Jovi in Raleigh. I want to say like 2013 or 15
But honestly I’ve seen so many shows it’s hard to say. Shawn Mendes in 2017 was amazing too. In DC
Katelyn Tarvers show in Raleigh last April was breathtaking too.

I saw Sigur Ros this summer in NYC. It's an Icelandic band so you don't actually know what he's singing, but they're a unique and amazing band!

My top 3 bands of all time- Aerosmith, GNR, and Bon Jovi.
All 3 performed in Brasil 2017 within 4 days(1 day break in between).
Woke up 5am, in queue 6am, concert starts 10pm, finishes midnight or 1am(GNR). Go home 2am, wake up 4am for next concert.
Fun moment!!! I was also at Rock in Rio festival for Bon Jovi, RHCP. But it doesnt compare to the 3 I mentioned. Just a GOAT feeling.
But performance wise- AEROSMITH. Tyler’s voice is still great. Lights and all. But they do a shorter set.
Fan singing along would be Bon Jovi. 100k people screaming and singing is surreal.

I've been to one concert, Deadmau5. It was OK, he only has one good song though.

A Finn Brothers concert in 2004. My bro and I were huge fans of Split Enz, Crowded House and their respective solo work at the time so it was awesome to see them (Neil and Tim) play live on stage.
Second would be a concert of Hans Zimmer's works (Gladiator, POTC, The Da Vinci Code, Inception etc.)

Best concert in my early years was w/Rob Zombie, hell of a performer and sounded as good as I hoped. Best stage presence I had seen with a lot of props. I think Alice Cooper and Godsmack was there too. Maybe Disturbed? Forget the rest.
Journey put on a good show w/Def Leppard. Def Leppard needs a younger singer like Journey.
EDC production wise, is hands down the best show on the planet. So much degeneracy and whales wearing nothing though. Not what it used to be compared to 10 years ago. But great music and production. Even getting there and leaving is a bit of chore.
Electronic music scene is so much better overseas. Lot of chill/mature people that just like music.

guns n' roses Metallica tour at Rich Stadium. July '92
I think it was their last tour before Hatfield was burned by pyrotechnics and only sang at following tour dates while other played guitar for him.
greatest tail gate party, water balloon sling shot wars, music, ect.
then before concert started the air was filled with pieces of ice from drinks until Hooter Vision was turned on.
they turned on the camera and jumbotron and would focus on hot chicks until they flashed their tata's.
then I think faith no more opened followed by gnr and metallica.
it was an amazing show.
kiss' first farewell tour when they put the makeup back on was 2nd best we were 10th row floor for that one. don't remember the date.

I've been to probably hundreds of concerts in my life, so can't pick a favorite. Here's some that def stood out:
Def Leppard Hysteria tour 2nd row
Bon Jovi did a free concert for about 100 people at a club in NJ when Runaway was getting big.
Skid Row Slave to the Grind tour. We slept out in Feb and almost froze to death. 13th row and I caught Sebastians cup he drank out of and kicked into the audience
Rock Allegiance in 2015. Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch, Godsmack, Korn and Rob Zombie. Great lineup.
Shinedown last Sept. I've seen them a bunch of times and they always put on a great show but that was the first concert after 2 years due to the pandemic and the crowd was going nuts. It was so freaking fun.

Queen + Paul Rodgers in '06 was good.
However, the best concert was Motley Crue in '05. Those boys could really put on a show.
