Whey Isolate Protein

I've been using this supplement over the past few of years now, on and off. And the thing I noticed is that I feel like I am retaining more water with it than if I would without it. I think, whey isolate is great if you're really lean and what to put on mass and want to preserve your gains. But if you have high bf I would say don't bulk solely with it. The only beneficial of this is when you're on a very low carb diet...like 50 grams of carbs per day or something really low. But if you want to bulk with protein powder if you're holding some layer of bf, don't consume whey throughout the day...Use it maybe first thing in the morning just to break the fast. Otherwise, you're spiking your insulin way too often. Which can lead to more fat gain than muscle gain.

I always thought it was my carbs that caused the bloating. I just starting supplementing with whey more.

Whey Isolate is harmful if we don't know how to use them.
