the tldr is it happened because of America's aid and support of Israel.

America sends Israel billions in cash, every year and billions in weapons

Israel uses these weapons to murder the local people living on the land that the Israelis are seizing , including kids, Israel's borders are ever-expanding.

9/11 could have been set up by Israeli's as an excuse for USA to invade Israel's enemy, and probably was. (Mossad intel is who knowingly lied to USA about WMD's in iraq) but thats not the point

Alex jones would never tell you this, but i still like Alex Jones.
