Mirin ability to break the trend, what do you think allowed you to get out of that lifestyle or culture trap? Moral compass? Father in the household?

I definitely think having a nuclear family is a huge factor in falling into thug life or not, almost everyone I know who has that background but leveled up was because they had a dad and their peers did not.

Yao Ming was the biggest player in NBA, black people still have the genetic advantage for ball over Asians. Exceptions don’t make the rule.

Prison is 90% men, I’m pretty sure that has a lot to do with genetics and the difference between men and women. Be foolish to assume there’s no differences between races that then manifests itself in different ways culturally.

There's truth to this. India is a poor country but has a very low murder rate, same can be said for some nations in Africa that are poor. Crime is more cultural than anything. African-American culture is very anti-intellectual and backwards and glorifies crime and is hypermasculine. That's a major factor for the high violent crime rates in the black community in America.

Environment plays a factor (to a certain extent) but its more cultural than anything.

Pops was a good teacher except when it came to finances, lol.

Just being in poverty was my motivation to not follow in his footsteps. I shared a bedroom with three brothers, I made it my business to not put my kids through that.

The guy speaks about how cops can predict violent crimes via ******** post and what not. One gang will make a music video and call the other gang out and you can almost bet there will be a shooting and murder the next day. I wonder if anyone has trolled these people into killing each other. Imagine the misc or better, 4chan chit posting on a gangs group chat or creating fake accounts and making up beefs just to get one side to attack the other. Within a month I'm sure Chicagos crime will fix itself because they'll all be dead lol.

Haha the concept of crime is a complex one - sure you can say that breaking the law which is enforced by the state is not a good thing, but the law and the enforcement of it exists for a reason.

In our culture premarital sex and degeneracy is normal and it's our right as human beings to express our sexuality as we please, but please look into the statistics for sexually transmitted diseases and where they are concentrated, and you'll understand why through history it was sorta kind illegal to just 'do it' with anybody - same reason that selling ******* became illegal.

Other examples include weed laws in Sydney NSW Australia, which is a very liberal and forward thinking metropolis, vs weed laws in the US (California I believe), which is the same in a way to Sydney, yet the law is completely different when it come to weed.

I really wish these guys had linked to ANY studies (charts/graphs/data) so that we could research their comments.
Just throw up 1 or 2 to support what they claim, the same way Layne Norton and others linked us to protein/Leucine studies.

of course it's culture. contrary to popular belief, there's huge populations of poor immigrants from china/india that live below the poverty line. all they do is work day and night and throw money at the kids to do well in school. education is your ticket out of poverty and violence. not sure why that's so hard to understand for the majority of poor americans.

x2. About 50% of the world live under some poverty line. If poverty led to criminality then the whole world would be in constant chaos and extreme violence and bloodshed. But that isn't the case.

Also, if poverty does lead to criminality, then here's a solution...kill or steralize all the poor people. Right?

I didn't watch the entire video but saw most of it, and didn't see it mentioned that much of the crime seen today in Democrat run cities comes from a red neck historical back ground.

That is how white southern red necks were, they had hair trigger tempers. They were violent people. That is how white southern red neck culture operated. If you slighted someone in the old south, you could be called out for a duel to the death. Or in some cases one guy might pull a knife and stab the other fellow for a perceived slight.

Thomas Sowell has written a book on black red necks and the old south and has discussed the topic in videos. One of his talks ~
