Had potential and looked good for the first 20 minutes

Then turned to utter chit writing

The whole vampire type genre just needs to get dropped. Zombies can be good or bad enough but at least it's "feasible" in a scientific sense. Edit: The blade series and in that sense was cool and worked well. Anything independent of that on it's own is just going to suck.

Made a thread yesterday and got negged.

Horrible movie, it almost seemed it was trying to be a parody of vampire movies, trying to be action movie, trying to be a comedy... never committed to any so it failed in all areas and was max gringe.

If they market and went balls deep on a being parody of cliche vampire movies would have been received better.

Dracula Untold was a decent vampire movie. I actually don't remember any other vampire type movies except that and Twilight

yup. they shouldve committed to being a parody like zombieland.

The ending was so bad. The main lady character hits him like 10 times but zero damage.

Twilight worked because it hit during the end of the golden decade of movies (2000-2010) and also was the big Vampire thing of "our" generation. Older cells had original Blade and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. We got Twilight. It's like if someone tried to do a new version of Harry Potter it would just suck. Need to have 50 years between breakouts. That's my opinion.

I couldn't finish it. I bailed with 30 mins or so remaining. But based on what you said, it was a good choice.
