Drying wool socks

I like to dry my clothes on extra low (because really who doesn't have the time?), but the socks can literally only come out to damp. That's even after adding an extra 30 minutes to the entire cycle.

Medium seems to do the job, but it takes like 25+ minutes still after the extra low session.
