Same. Especially if you are using good quality rice. Like polished botan rice your tap water probably makes it dirtier. Maybe if you use cheap chinese or indian rice or something you should.

you’ll get fluffier and less sticky rice if you rinse it properly.

rinsing it makes it better, gets rid of the excess starch and makes it less sticky. helps with texture

my blood tests showed arsenic levels more than double the max limit and that was the only thing it could have been from. Rice daily for years that I didnt rinse.

The best rice comes from rice rinsers but its basically what youre trying to cook and how you want your rice. If you want sticky rice, dont wash it brah.

Rinse your rice, see all that cloudy water? That's starch on the outside of the grain, that makes it stickier if left on.

Even if you want legit sticky rice, you would use a different grain but still rinse it but also cook it a different way

if you leave the excess starch on its like rice with a sticky residue around it. not good

i'll bet miscers don't even use top sheets under their blankets, or duvet covers lol
