Things people do that you can't fathom

For example I was watching that Woodstock '99 video and just imagining being in the middle of a crowd of tens of thousands in 100F was mildly anxiety provoking.

Or with work, I can't imagine digging up roads or ditches all day in the crazy summer heat and humidity.

And yeah, OP, is soft but that's kind of the point. It just fascinates me that some people not only do this kind of stuff for work but they actually spend money to do it and apparently enjoy it.

Just curious if any of you Miscers see people doing things either for fun or work that blow your mind because you know you never could or would do it.

Edit: I'm getting more at things that you couldn't endure or things that people do for fun that seem like hell to you, rather than human behaviour that simply disgusts you.

Yeah, nice one, same. Working in an old people's home would be terrible. I spent some time on a geriatric ward during uni and just remember thinking at the time that I'd rather get hit by a bus or rope than have to endure that (I think either working there or being a patient there). Would take a mortuary over old people's home/geriatric ward.
